💙 Ukraine Pesach Packathon 💛

Sunday 12 March

Y9 4.30pm - 5:45pm, Y10+ 5.30pm - 6.30pm

Project ImACT teens have been requested to join a big packathon for Jewish families in Ukraine.

What to collect:

We have been asked for the following kosher for Pesach items:

Cookies, Crisps, Coffee/Tea, Sugar/Salt, Tuna, Jam, Tinned Fruit, Tomato Paste

💙 Please can you try to collect a minimum of 4-5 items per teen if possible.

💛 All items must be in date.

💙 You can also bring other kosher items that aren't for Pesach, which will be packed separately.

Sunday 11 December

Year 9 5.00pm, Year 10+ 6:00pm

Help support those in need this winter

  • Cook a meal for food banks

  • Collect and donate winter clothes (bring hats, scarves, gloves, jumpers and coats)

  • Collect gifts for seriously ill children in hospital

    Gifts should be new, not cuddly toys and suitable for primary school-aged children

If you are already booked for the JW3 Youth Community Kitchen on 11 December, you don’t need to sign up below!

 

MENTAL HEALTH FIRST AID (MHFA) YOUTH CHAMPIONS COURSE

For Teens 16+

This accredited course will give teens an understanding of mental health challenges and how they can support themselves and their peers.

All teens are invited to take on a challenge around the theme of 100 to honour Sir Captain Tom!

  • Take on your 100 Challenge any time between Friday 30 April (which would have been Captain Toms 101st birthday) and Monday 30th May.

  • E-mail us a photo of yourself doing your 100 challenge and Project ImpACT to be entered into our raffle to win £500 for a charity of your choice!

  • You can also fundraise for a charity of your choice or donate to The Captain Tom Foundation.

We’ve come up with a few ideas to get you started:

  • Baking 100 cupcakes

  • Collecting 100 items for a food bank

  • Writing 100 cards

  • Walking 100 steps on your hands

  • Creating 100 positive messages

  • Dancing for 100 minutes
